These creatures will surely spread germs all over your place. You wouldn't want your premise to be a breeding ground for such pests.
Moreover, it is also very important to check the containers every once in a while. Never let the wastes over flow. You should also maintain and clean them after two weeks. After washing them off, dry them up under the heat of the sun. And finally, you can use the containers again.
When you're in a public place, never dispose off your garbage anywhere. The side of the road is not the proper place for your candy wrappers and sheets of paper. You should consider the others who might see you doing such. Instead of making the wrong thing, you can always be a role model.
